The Death-Knight Cataclysm changes!
Well i just wanted to talk alittle about the changes coming up, like you all know you can just scroll down and read them.
Outbreak (level 81): This spell will help alot to change targets and put disease up fast so the 2 spell rotation now goes in one. I personaly like this spell alot as now we can do our rotations faster and easier, less runes to wait on.
Necrotic Strike (level 83): This will be more off an lvling, soloing and tanking. It will do some dmg + absorb health to us. Just like a tipical blood spell.
Dark Simulacrum (level 85): Is so nice. I mean this will be kind off an ”spell” reflection”. Just think you’re in pvp and a pala comes, you just throw this on him and right away he uses Hammer and tries to stun you = he’s getting stunned = hes dead. I cant wait untill dinging 85 and thats for sure.
Rune changes :The new rune system will change how runes regenerate, from filling simultaneously to filling sequentially. For example, if you use two Blood runes, then the first rune will fill up before the second one starts to fill up. Essentially, you have three sets of runes filling every 10 seconds instead of six individual runes filling every 10 seconds. (Haste will cause runes to fill faster.) Another way to think of this is having three runes that go up to 200% each (allowing extra “storage”), rather than six runes that go up to 100% each. I see they’re getting ”Haste” more into the game but i like the old rune rune system. Now they’re changing it alot but maybe it will be better, maybe we’ll be pisst off, or maybe its just going to be the same.
Talent Changes: Now what all dks have been waiting for. A DECENT tanking tree, Blizz will now destroy blood to make a tanking tree. When you’re making a tank now you just go thinking, Blood?Unholy? or should i go Frost?. But now it will only bee blood. Im sorry fellow Blooders we will have to go train Frost or Unholy in Cata iff we’re staying dps. Myself stupidly hate this why they didnt choose frost but i think they think blood are more interesting with all it’s healing and so on.
New talents are.
Vengeance Healing absorption: When you heal yourself, you’ll receive an additional effect that absorbs incoming damage.
They’re just making it to a tanking spec.
Melee Haste Runic power generation: This will function as the name implies, and the new rune system will make generating Runic Power more appealing.
They’re keeping frost as the same Dual wield fast and high single target dmg.
Melee and spell critical damage Disease dmg: Unholy death knights will be able to get more out of their diseases, which are integral to the tree’s play style.
Same old high critts, diseases, ghoulds and so on. Will be a nice lvling tree i think.
Well hope you death knights can’t wait until Cata. I can’t wait but ill miss my blood specc as dps.
