It’s finally here
It’s been months since a post and that is just down to pure laziness of which i do apologise. Lots of problems IRL which have kept me from you all and now I am really hoping to keep you up to date every friday and saturday with the happenings and views of my time in WOW.
So first off we finally have a release date. Yes that’s right December 7th which weirdly enough is the same day as the anniversary of Pearl harbour being attacked. I really cannot wait to get my hands on this plus with patch 4.0 dropping any day now we are going to see a major focus not just on bug fixing within the beta but also on the live realms. So prepare forums for nerd rage on a massive scale i predict.
Then comes along the guild max size cap of 600 and then raised to 1000. This will not effect the majority of guild but such guilds as AIE theinstance.com’s guild and the likes will have to rearrange their strategy when dealing with their guild and how it operates coming into Cataclysm.
We also have noticed that authenticator’s can now be linked to guild banks. This is not a surprising move by Blizzard with the constant threat of being hacked ever in the background on people’s accounts then this is a sure-fire way for them to motivate people to buy the authenticator and make sure no one tries to claim their hard-earned gold and items. Hell I’d be pissed if someone hacked my account and stole my Frostmourne or something. I’d bring the rain of hell down on their ass.
An announcement was made by Blizzard a couple of weeks ago regardng a new feature they are adding for mobile armory users and this is the long awaited outside of game guild chat system. Yes for as little as $2.99 a month you can chat and PM your favorite (or hated) guildies on your iPhone, iPod touch or Android running mobile phones. This is the reason people i want an iPod Touch. I want this feature and if I was not a complete moron with money i could probably be able to afford such a thing but sadly my family comes first and loans and food and rent and everything else cos life is hard in recession hit Ireland. But there always potatoes lol.
Well that’s all from me for a bit. Currently finishing leveling my undead warlock who is as of time of writing this level 24 on a realllllly bad connection. Mobile broadband is not a win situation. Also currently finishing off the War of the Ancients trilogy of books by Richard A Knaak and must say they are fantastic and gripping as a trilogy should be. Warcraft movie makers read this series. Might give you a hint as to what i want in the movie.
Well that’s it from the gingerness of Irishness. Keep save and remember murloc’s have families too.
